Furnished monthly rooms and share houses in Nippori & Otsuka
Three ways to live in Tokyo by the month, all run directly by KICHI: two share houses with private rooms and a whole furnished apartment floor. Rent includes water, gas and Wi-Fi, and also electricity in Nippori; in the Nishi-Sugamo share house electricity is metered per room (about ¥700–1,500 a month).

- Fixed-term lease (定期借家契約): the contract ends on the end date. To stay longer, we sign a new contract.
- Rent is paid in advance: in full at signing for stays under 3 months; from 3 months, monthly by the 25th for the next month.
- Moving out early: give 1 month's notice. Rent already paid is not refunded and the deposit is not returned.
- Damage or heavy soiling is deducted from the deposit at actual repair cost. Lost key: lock replacement at actual cost (about ¥15,000–25,000).
- No smoking indoors (deodorising fee ¥30,000 if broken). No pets.
- Only people named in the contract may stay. Quiet hours after 22:00.
- To sign, bring your passport or residence card (在留カード) and an emergency contact number.

Can I register my address (juminhyo) at the room?
Yes, you can register your 住民票 at the room's address.
What is the minimum stay?
One month (fixed-term lease, 定期借家契約). To stay longer we sign a new contract.
Do I get my deposit back?
Yes — in full on move-out day if you stay the full term and nothing is damaged. Normal wear and tear is not charged.
Can I see the room first?
Yes, in person or by video call. Send your preferred time through the form or by email.
